UDHAMPUR, Dec 8: Renowned singer of the State, Sushma Rajput today launched her production house and company ‘CMD Productions’ and also launched her first solo Sufi track Sajda under the banner of her production house.
She has become the first and only singer of J&K State, who has launched Sufi solo track song. Sushma Rajput has done near about 60 devotional songs and albums till now. She is also the first singer of J&K State who has received award from Usha Mangeshkar. On the occasion of launching the company, MLA Udhampur, Pawan Gupta was the chief guest. In his address, he expressed that artists of the State were assets and ambassadors of our culture. He assured the artists that for an auditorium, he will bring this issue into the notice of concerned authorities of Government for appropriate action.
Earlier, speakers on the occasion had demanded auditorium for the promotion of cultural activities in Udhampur district. One of the speakers disclosed that there are two community halls of Municipal Council Udhampur but both of them have been illegally given to the private players on lease for marriage functions.
Others present on this occasion, included Dr Baljinder Singh, Sapna Soni, Surinder Khalsa, Manju Gupta, Nisha Gupta, Yash, Rahul Sharma (video director) lyricist Shivani Tak, Sandeep Sandy, Shoto Magotra and Anchor DK.
