JAMMU, Mar 18: Simula Cricket Club defeated their rivals convincingly to enter the next round of the on going Jammu Premier League (JPL)-2 at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
The Tournament is being organized by Karwan-e-Hussaini, a social Welfare Society.
Earlier, batting first, Simula Cricket Club scored a big total of 200 runs. Anshuman top scored with 63 runs.
In reply, Young Cricket Club collapsed at a paltry total of 69 runs. Shahrooz top scored with 12 runs. Raman was the pick of the bowlers for Simula Club, who took 5 important wickets, while Kulvinder Singh bagged 4 wickets. Gulzar emerged best fielder. Raman was adjudged as man of the match for taking 5 wickets for Simula Cricket Club.
The organizing committee members include Latif Hussain Khan, Vishvesh Bali and Sonu Sharma.
Madan Verma and Sanju were the umpires, while Puran was the scorer.
