JAMMU, Jan 27: Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Simra-ndeep Singh flagged off 54-member Jammu and Kashmir State Speedball contingent for participating in the Federation National Speedball Champions-hip 2017, being organized by Speedball Association of India at Sindhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from tomorrow.
The 4-days Championship will conclude on January 31, 2017.
Earlier, the players were selected by J&K Sports Speedball Association on merit basis during selection trials held at Jammu.
While interacting with the players, DC Jammu wished them all the best and encouraged them to showcase their talent in the prestigious event.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Chief Advisor of the Association, Er SP Langer; VK Sharma, Advisor; Anil Nanda, President; Er VK Gupta, Vice President; Vikram Jamwal and Sunny Nanda, World Medallist in France.
