Sikh bodies condemn attack on minorities in Afghanistan

JAMMU, July 4: Various Sikh organizations today condemned bomb attack on minorities at Jalalabad in Pakistan in which 17 Sikhs and two Hindus were killed.
An emergency meeting of various Sikh organizations was held under the chairmanship of Sudarshan Singh Wazir, chairman, Sikh United Front J&K and former president J&K State Gurdwara Prabandhak Board strongly condemned the attack on the peaceful 17 Sikhs and two Hindus in which many persons died in suicide bomb blast attack by the militants on innocent citizens of Jalalabad in Afghanistan. The Sikh organizations included Bhai Kanhaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K, AISSF, Sikh Nojawan Sabha, Sikh Welfare Society and member DGPC Jammu.
The participants in the meeting also condemned Central Government for not taking any action and not raising the issue with Afghan Govt and demanded to settle the Hindu and Sikh in India. The participants demanded from Afghanistan Govt to provide security to the minorities living in their country.
