SIE Jammu organizes quiz competition

JAMMU, Oct 30: The language wing of the State Institute of Education (SIE) Jammu organized a Quiz Competition in which six teams of various districts of Jammu division participated.
The quiz competition was inaugurated by Joint Director Trainings, H R Pakhroo who stressed on the importance of organizing such programmes as these competitions help the students to find gaps in their knowledge and learn more for future competitions.
Field Advisor Languages, S L Tengloo explained to the students, the purpose of these competitions in the current century.
Archana Bakshi and Rakhi Atri acted as quiz masters in the programme while Dr Rabia Naseem maintained the scores of the participated teams.
The first prize in the competition was bagged by the students of Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) Udhampur comprising Pardeep Singh, Ajay Sharma and Maninder Singh.
The second prize went to Himalayan Education Mission HSS Rajouri comprising Mehrum Bhat, Sadaf Bhat and Nimna Firdos and the third prize was bagged by the students of Government Higher Secondary School (Girls) Mubarak Mandi Jammu comprising Seerat Malika, Ayushi Pandita and Muskan.
At the end of the programme mementoes were awarded to the winning teams by the Joint Director Trainings and certificates of participation were awarded to the other participating students, also.
