Sidhharth, Sanjeev honour cueists as Billiards & Snooker Championships conclude

JAMMU, Sept 29: 26th Billiards and Snooker Championship (Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker) and 3rd Six Red Balls Championship and 2nd Sub Junior Championship concluded at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
Sidharth Sharma, Chairman of JKBSA was chief guest on the valedictory function, while Sanjeev Gupta, President JKBSA was the guest of honour, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up cueists on the occasion.
Vishal Abrol, General Secretary of the Association, Sr Vice President Jaideep Manocha, Vice President Nikhil Kapahi, Treasurer Sohail Khalid and Organising Secretaries Ishuk Chowdhary and Gurjeev Singh were present on the occasion.
Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex also graced the occasion with his presence.
Rakesh Sharma was the marker of the tournament which was played under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council. Around 350 players participated in this month-long tournament, which had begun on September 1, 2018.
In Sub Junior Snooker, Sankalp Soni was the winner, while Sourav Santoy was the runners-up.
In Sub Junior Billiards, Saksham Gupta was the winner, while Sankalp Soni emerged runners-up.
In Junior Snooker, Rohit Chib was the winner, while Stanzin Stobdan was the runners-up.
In Junior Billiards, Basit Wani was the winner, while Stanzin Stobdan was the runners-up.
In Senior Billiards, Sohail Khaled was the winner, while Vishal Abrol was the runners-up.
In Senior Snooker, Ishuk Choudhary was the winner, while Abhishek Pathania was the runners-up.
In Six Red Balls Tournament, Vidit Gawri was the winner and Abhishek Pathania was the runners-up.
