Shopkeeper among two arrested with illicit liquor

JAMMU, Dec 1: Police arrested two persons including a shopkeeper along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police spokesman, a team from Domana Police Station laid a naka and arrested a person along with 30 pouches of illicit liquor pouches, which he was carrying for selling among the people to make illegitimate profits.
The arrested person has been identified as Ramesh Lal, son of Durga Dass of Gajansoo.
A case under FIR Number 366/17 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector RS Rana made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Varinder Singh and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh.
Meanwhile, a team from Sidhra Police Post conducted raid in a shop and seized six pouches of illicit liquor, which the shopkeeper used to sell among the people for illegitimate profits.
The shopkeeper has been arrested, who has been identified as Moti Lal, son of Amar Nath of Bajalta.
A case under FIR Number 258/17 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Sidhra Police Post SI Tariq Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh Salathia and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh.
