JAMMU  Apr 22: BJP vice president Yudhvir Sethi said that Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated across the region with religious fervour and devotion as Hanuman is the most dedicated devotee of Lord Rama. He said the Jayanti marks the pious and unending devotion of Shree Hanuman Ji and inspires all to follow the path of righteousness and devotion to the almighty.
Yudhvir Sethi was addressing the gathering on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti Shobha Yatra organised in the city here today. The Shobha Yatra was organized by the Bajrang Dal. Suresh Gupta Vishav Hindu Parishad  Karyakarya Adaksh  flagged off the yatra from Rehari and it passed through Kachi Chawni, Pacca Danga, Jain Bazar, Link Road, Purani Mandi, City Chowk, Raghunath Bazar, Indira chowk  and culminated at Ranbireshwar Temple, Shalamar, here.
Yudhvir Sethi was chief guest at the Ranbireshwar Temple where Hanuman Chalisa Path was organized. On the occasion Purshotam Dadichi a senior RSS leader said that the Bajrang Dal is committed to the service of humanity and have always stood up in helping society during the need of hour. He said the Bajrang Dal activists work selflessly for the cause of the people. Latter on the culmination of the yatra Shastra Pujan was also performed at Ranbireshwar Temple, Shalamar, Jammu.
Prominent among others who participated in the yatra includes Prem Shankar Ji, Prant Seh Sangathan Mantri, Rakesh Sharma, Prant Seh Sanjojak, Karan Gupta, Prant Vidhyarthi Pramukh, Kartik Sudan, Vicky Choudhary, Malang, Rakshit Sharma, Aastik Kohli, Anil Masoom, Pardeep Langeh, Rinku, Ramesh Gupta, Rajesh Dogra, Govind Sareen, Kartar Chand, Mohan, Ram Prasad, Daljeet Singh, Aman Singh,Ashwani Gupta, Gulshan, Nitesh, Nipun.
The Hanuman Jayanti was also celebrated by Bawa Kailakh Dev Prabandhak Committee at Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan Thather Bantalab today with chanting of Vedic Mantras by devotees.
The people from all walks of life participated in the religious function to pay obeisance to the Lord. Speaking on the occasion Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan Mahant Rohit Shastri highlighted the significance of the day.
