JYOTIPURAM, Feb 24: Drubbing Anil Sharma in an easy contest in summit clash, Shivam Gupta won the title trophy of the Badminton Tournament, organised by Reasi Badminton Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association, here.
Shivam defeated his rival by (21-10, 21-13) in the finals, while in Doubles summit clash, the pair of Shivam and Sunit got the better of Abhinav and Anil in a close contest by (19-21, 21-9, 21-18).
Earlier, in Singles semifinals, Anil beat Brijesh by (21-15, 17-21, 24-22) and Shivam trounced Karan by (21-10, 21-8), while in the Doubles semifinals, Shivam and Sunit prevailed over Brijesh and Surinder by (21-15, 21-16) and Abhinav and Anil Sunit and Vinod by (21-14, 21-14).
