JAMMU, Apr 26: Dimpy Kohli, State president, Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackeray) has expressed serious concern over the continued agitation of the Daily Wagers and Casual Workers of Public Health Engineering Department and also of other different departments for the past one and half month due to failure of State Government to address their genuine demands, as a result the water supply system especially in rural areas has almost collapsed.
While addressing the media persons here, Dimpy Kohli along with vice president, Sandeep Bhagat, Rajan Gupta, Narinder Dev Chunni and MM Nagotra said that many deputations of people belonging to rural areas met him and apprised that due to continuous agitation of PHE employees acute water scarcity was being witnessed in their areas at a time when mercury is rising day by day.
Kohli urged the Government to immediately resolve the issues of agitating workers.
