Sheikh Nasir calls on Chief Minister, projects demands

SRINAGAR, Oct 1: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) District President Kishtwar Shiekh Nasir Hussain called on Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here.
District President submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister and also apprised her about the demands relating to tourism, health and infrastructure projects in Kishtwar District.
Sheikh Nasir projected demands including constriction of Sanghpura Vailoo tunnel, upgradation of Jammu-Kishtwar Anantnag highway, construction and upgradation of several roads viz Donadi-Bonjwah road, Hurna Drubeel road, Sigdi road, Kuchhal road, Trigam road, Bhatyas and Tanta road, creation of basic infrastructure including road connectivity, making Kishtwar festival an annual feature to promote tourism, setting up degree colleges in Padder and Bonjwah areas, immediate completion of Kishtwar-Dachhan-Marwah road, upgradation of several High Schools to Higher Secondary level, upgradation of Niabat Sarthal to Tehsil, start of construction of new hydro power projects over river Chenab, setting up of sub district hospitals with all latest facilities in Chatroo and Bonjwah areas, critical care ambulance for Bonjwah, Sarthal and Kahra areas, construction of sports stadium at Kishtwar, expansion of old bus stand Kishtwar and necessary steps for providing proper drinking water and electricity to the residents of the region.
Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the demands and assured early solution to all the issues.
