JAMMU, Jan 8: A deputation of sheep and wool workers met the Director Sheep Husbandry and apprised him of their burning problems here today.
The delegation of the workers led by Ashok Badyal, president of All J&K Sheep and Wool Workers Association during meeting with the Director projected the burning issues of the workers. They are demanding two and half days extra pay, conduct of DPC of all cadre, stoppage of undue recovery from the staff, creation of posts of Section Officers in the office of Joint Director, timely procurement of vaccine, release of salary of employees in time and so on.
The Director gave patient hearing and assured to resolve their issues shortly. Prominent among those who accompa nied included Narinder Singh, Ashish Sharma, Banarsi Lal, Khushal Mohd, Showkat Ali and CP Sharma.
