SGEJAC delegation calls on Finance Minister

JAMMU, Dec 14: A deputation of State Government Employees Joint Action Committee (SGEJAC) called on Minister for Finance, Labour Employment and Culture, Dr Haseeb Drabu here today.
The deputation presented various demands before the Minister including implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations, removal of pay anomalies, regularization of all daily wagers in all the departments, release of dislocation allowance, increase in medical allowance, mediclaim policy for non-gazetted employees, restructuring of PSUs, issues related to State Forest Corporation (SFC) and others.
While interacting with the deputation, Dr Drabu assured them that their genuine demands and grievances would be looked into and redressed accordingly. He said the Government is aware of the problems being faced by the employees and these would be solved in a time bound manner.
The members of the delegation complimented the Minister for ensuring zero pendency of the GP Fund claims and streamlining the functioning of the Funds Department.
The SGEJAC delegation was represented by Spokesperson, Suresh Sharma along with other members including Sushil Sudan, Subhash Verma, Mohammad Farooq, K C Dubey, Yash Magotra, Vijay Gupta and others.
