JAMMU, Apr 19: The State Football Academy (SFA) Inter Academies Football League 2017-18 for Jammu cluster concluded at MA Stadium, here.
The three teams of various age categories, which emerged victorious in cluster Jammu ?qualified for the final round which is likely to be held from May 1, 2018.
Nine matches were played in this cluster under three age groups 13, 15, and 18 respectively in which two teams of SFA Jammu (U-18 and U-13) and SFA Kathua (U-15) qualified for the final round.
During the last match of Jammu cluster, OSD with Secretary State Sports Council and Member of SFA, Mushtaq Ahmed Baba was the chief guest on the occasion.
The event was also graced by the Members of Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council (JKSSC), Professor BA Shah, and Rauf Tramboo, besides Manager JKSSC, Ashok Singh.
Jammu Cluster was organized under the supervision of Organising Secretary, Satpal Singh, Match Commissioner, Iqbal Singh, and General Coordinator, Vishwamitra.
The SFA coaches were given the responsibilities of officiating matches and the panel included Sanjay Sharma, Deeraj Menia, Dil Bahadur, Dushant Sharma, Nikita, Pooja and Khushboo besides physiotherapist Dr. Abhinav Gupta.
The matches were played under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association and as per the rules and regulations of All India Football Federation and FIFA.
