In this disease, one feels severe pain between jaw bone and joint in throat and at the base of tongue, there remains severe pain. It increases during eating, swallowing, movement of jaw and neck. Patient feels something struck or some foreign body in the throat. Reason for this is enlargement of jaw bone below the ear.
