JAMMU, Sept 29: Several persons were injured when a mini-bus turned turtle in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, at about 6 pm today a rashly driven mini-bus bearing registration number JK02S-7128, which was on its way from Sohal to Nud turned turtle in Sohal area when driver lose control over the vehicle.
He said that in the mishap, several passengers including Raja Singh son of Chatter Singh of Dhanger, Chanchala Devi wife of Brij Lal of Chak Bhagwana, Suneha Gupta wife of Ashok Gupta of Digiana (Jammu) and Jeeto Devi wife of Girdhari Lal of Badgal (Akhnoor) received injuries.
“All the injured have been shifted them to SDH Akhnoor for treatment while a case FIR No 200/2017 under Sections 279/337 RPC has been registered and investigations started”, he added.
