Sena flays Govt for not permitting Lal Chowk flag hoisting

JAMMU, Aug 14: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery) here today flayed the Central Government for not giving permission to its leaders for unfurling National Flag at Kashmir’s Lal Chowk to celebrate Independence Day.
J&K State Shiv Sena President, Dimpy Kohli told reporters that an MP of his party had written to Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh for permission to hoist National Flag at Lal Chowk but, as of now, same has not been granted.
“It is very unfortunate that BJP is doing nothing while in Government and, is also not permitting our party leaders to hoist National Flag at Lal Chowk in Srinagar,” he maintained.
Kohli further said that NDA Government is appeasing separatists.
“Kashmir is an integral part of India and Shiv Sena will do everything to save it from the anti-national forces,” he maintained.
Those who were present in the conference were Vipin Hindu, Rakesh Kak, Ashwani Gupta, Raj Singh, Raju Salaria, Pawan Singh, Sanjeev Sudan, Sanjeev Sharma and others.
