Semis position cleared in Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament

JAMMU, Jan 21: Semifinals lineup has been drawn in the Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here today.
Quarter final matches were played today.
In the first match, GDC Kathua defeated GDC Hiranangar by 20 points (40-20), while in the second quarterfinal match, GDC Paloura got better of SPMR College of Commerce by 17 points (37-20).
In the third quarterfinal match, GDC Mendhar got better of GGM Science College by 9 points (24-15) and in the fourth quarterfinal MAM College prevailed over PG Department by 11 points (28-15).
Prof Shailendar Singh Jamwal , HoD, History was the chief guest on the occasion, who interacted with all the teams in quarterfinals.
Prominent among others present were Naryani Jamwal, Ayaz Malik, Romesh Sharma, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Amit Sharma, Jaswant, Amit Sharma and Rakesh Verma.
The matches were officiated by Ankush Chib, Keshav Singh, Amandeep Singh, Raki Sharma and Gagan Kumar.
The tournament of the Kabaddi was conducted under the supervision of the Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, Univers-ity of Jammu.
