SDPO South gets appreciation certificate; 48 cops awarded for outstanding performance

SRINAGAR, Aug 16: Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) South Jammu Mohammad Rafiq Manhas has been awarded appreciation certificate by Police Headquarters, while 48 police personnel of Jammu District have been awarded for outstanding performance while fighting against narcotics terrorism.
SDPO City South Jammu Mohammad Rafiq Manhas and other police personnel of District Jammu have been appreciated for their strenuous efforts which led to the arrest of many notorious criminals particularly drug peddlers involved in many cases. This helped in recovery of huge quantity of drugs and other stolen property worth lakhs of rupees.
Cash reward of Rs 2.76 lakh along with Commendation Certificate Class-I was also sanctioned in favour of 48 police personnel.
Those who have been rewarded are Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia, SIs Kali Charan, Rohit Bhagat, Nayat Ali and Vicky Thapa, ASIs Rakesh Kumar, Mohammad Fazal, Satpal and Babu Ram, HCs Mumtaz Ahmad and Sarjan Singh, Sgcts Faqar-u-Din, Mohammad Javid, Pawan Kumar, Harvinder Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Dalip Singh, Bikram Singh, Karamjeet Singh, Barkat Ali, Ranjeev Singh, Sudash Kumar, Vikram Singh, Suresh Kumar, Mohammad Rafi, Zahid Hussain, Manmandir Singh, Cts Sanjeev Kumar, Narinder Singh, Anil Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Surjit Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Faqar-u-Din, Rajish Bakshi, Mandeep Singh, SPOs Ajay Sharma, Rashpal Kumar, Satish Kumar, Vinay Choudhary, Puneet Khajuria, Subash Chander, Tilak Raj, Rajeev Kumar, Som Dutt, Surinder Kumar, Baljeet Singh, Bal Krishan and Nazir Ahmad.
In a handout, the police headquarters hoped that the personnel will continue to work with more dedication and devotion in the interests of public and the department, in future.
