JAMMU, Apr 26: SD College Chandigarh defeated ITM College Dehradun by 6 wickets to seal berth in the finals of the National Red Bull Campus Cricket Tournament.
SD College won the toss and elected to field.
Batting first, ITM College scored 164 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process.
In reply, SD College chased the target in 19.2 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Kunal Chandela from ITM college won the man of the match award for scoring 61 runs in 32 balls and picking 2 wickets.
SD College Chandigarh also beat Science College Jammu by 5 wickets. Batting first, Science College Jammu scored 105 runs in 20 overs.
In reply, SD College chased the target easily in 15.5 overs. Harpreet Brar from SD College won the man of the match award for taking 4 important wickets.
In another match, ITM college Dehradun beat Science College Jammu by 3 wickets but failed to make it to the National finals.
