SRINAGAR, Dec 16: The screening test of the Sub-Junior and Senior J&K State Ball Badminton boys and girls teams was held for the selected players at Bakshi Stadium, here today.
The teams have been selected for the upcoming 37th Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship for boys & girls to be held at Bhubneshwar (Odisha) from December 26 to December 30, 2017 and 63rd Senior National Ball Badminton Championship for men and women to be played at Gurgaon (Haryana) from January 5 to January 9, 2018.
The 37th Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship players who have been screened will leave for the said event December 20, 2017 and 63rd Senior National Ball Badminton screened players will leave for the said event on January 3, 2018. The screening Committee included Nazir Ahmad (Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Nuzhat Ara (Divisional Sports Officer, Kashmir), Bilquees Mir (Member J&K State Sports Council).
Also present on the occasion were Basit Ahmad Khan (General Secretary J&K Ball Badminton Association).
