Scam involving fake licenses busted

Srinagar, Dec 3: Police today said it have busted a scam involving fake documents’ racket and arrested two fraudsters in Ganderbal district of central Kashmir.
A police spokesman said that a team that was constituted by police raided a shop titled as “Kaka Studio” and arrested one accused namely Tawseef Ahmad Sofi in Ganderbal town.
“Later, one more accused person namely Aamir Hassan Rather was arrested. Fake stamps, forged documents and fake IDs, a computer and computer accessories were recovered from their possession,” he said, adding that a case under FIR number 249/2017 under Section 420 RPC was lodged.
“Investigation of the case is underway and more arrests are expected,” the police spokesman added.
