JAMMU, Aug 5: The All J&K SC, ST Retired Employees Forum held a meeting, here today under the chairmanship of its president Prof G L Thapa and discussed various issues concerning the SC, ST community.
The Forum strongly condemned the gross violation of Reservation Rules by the SKUAST-J and SKUAST-K which have not declared the list of selected candidates by mentioning category, thus raising doubts. Alleging that this amounts to gross injustice with SC, ST and ST candidates, the Forum appealed Chief Minister to personally intervene into the matter.
The Forum alleged that after crushing reservation in promotions, the PSC was not trying to end reservation in direct recruitment also. This is again a well thought game plan of present regime to damage reserved categories, the meet said.
Those who spoke in the meeting, included, H R Phonsa, C L Banal, M L Hans, G I Lakhnotra, Amar Nath, S D Digra, Prakash Ram, T C Bavoria, G D Dogra, V D Trail and Captain Bira Ram.
