JAMMU, Jan 8: All J&K SC,ST Retired Employees Forum has refuted the allegations leveled by the General Category Forum which appeared in a section of press recently.
In a meeting of the Forum members held under the Chairmanship of Dr GL Thappa here today, the members discussed various issues related to the reserved categories. The Forum took a serious view of allegations with regard to injustice with upper caste youth and that people were being deprived of services of competent doctors, engineers and top officers due to reservation.
They said that with mere 5% quota people among doctors/ engineers or bureaucrats, the services does not affect and it is also history that SCs are marginalized in the country. They termed it as just propaganda against the reserved categories.
The other members present in the meeting included, UC Dingra, J R Aryan, DR Bhagat, C L Banal, BL Bhagat, M L Hans G L Lakhnotra and Amarnath.
