KOLKATA, July 11: India’s major lender – State Bank of India -today launched its wealth management service ‘SBI Exclusif’ in this metropolis. With the unveiling of “SBI Exclusif’ at its Ballygunge branch in south Kolkata by SBI chairperson Aundhati Bhattacharya, the lender has now such services in 10 major centres in the country. SBI is the first PSU bank in the country to introduce comprehensive Wealth Management services. The bank was now targeting to have SBI Exclusif outlets in 13 centres across the country in the current financial year of 2017-18. SBI Exclusif is targeted at the fast-growing affluent segment in the country. It aims to provide a comprehensive and best-in-class banking experience to the Bank’s HNI customers. Introducing Wealth Management has been one of the top strategic priorities of the bank, as the lender has a number of HNI customers, whose banking needs are more sophisticated and who require highly specialized services. SBI Exclusif customers will have access to a dedicated Relationship Manager (RM) to take care of all their banking and investment needs. This RM will be supported by a team of wealth service managers and investment counselors. To ensure high quality services, the Bank has ensured that RMs and investment experts have significant prior experience and also have undergone extensive training. Further, customers will have access to the best products across categories from market leading institutions, as the Bank has introduced an open platform. (UNI)
