Satya Pal Jain re-appointed as Addl Solicitor General

CHANDIGARH,  May 5: Satya Pal Jain, former MP and Senior Advocate, has been re-appointed as the Additional Solicitor General of India in Punjab & Haryana High Court here by President of India. His term will end on 30th of June 2020.
As the Additional Solicitor General of India, he is the Litigation Incharge for all cases of the Central Government in the Punjab & Haryana High Court.
The post of Additional Solicitor General of India in Chandigarh was created for the first time by the Union Cabinet in December 2014 and Mr Jain was appointed as the First Additional Solicitor General of India at Chandigarh by the President of India on 9th April 2015. (UNI)
