JAMMU, Mar 30: Satwari Cantt Challengers, Jammu Rising Stars and Jammu Vishal Kings registered emphatic wins in the ongoing “Khelo Khel Bhulo Nasha T20 Championship for Junior Cricketers”, at Parade Ground, here today.
Earlier, in the first match played today, Satwari Cantt Challengers defeated KC Warriors by 21 runs.
Batting first, Satwari Cantt Challengers scored 103 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 18 overs, with Tanvir (28), Annam (14) and Vansh (13) being the main scorers.
From KC Warriors, Uttkarsh and Vansh took 2 wickets each, while Ash and Punia shared 1 wicket each.
KC Warriors, in reply scored 82 runs in 18 overs for the loss of 4 wickets, thus lost the match by 21 runs. Abhinandan (15) and Vansh (14) were the main scorers.
From bowling side, Kartik took 2 wickets, while Manu claimed I wicket. Tanvir was adjudged as man of the match.
In second match, Jammu Vishal Kings defeated Sehwag Daredevils by 7 wickets.
Batting first, Sehwag Daredevils scored 85 runs for the loss of 9 wicket in 20 overs , with Dhruv (23) being the main scorer.
From bowling side, Umar Sadiq and Smarpit took 2 wickets each, Jugjap, Amit and Nalin claimed 1 wicket each.
Jammu Vishal Kings, in reply achieved the target in 12.4 overs for the loss of 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Musaif (25), Akshit (20), Aprajit (19) and Jugjap (11) were main scorers. Jugjap was declared as man of the match.
In another match Jammu Rising Stars defeated KC Warriors by 8 wickets.
Batting first, KC Warriors scored 90 runs in 20 overs, with Adhiraj and Abhinandan with 10 runs each being the main scorers.
For Jammu ising Stars, Ashim Nanda and Abhay took 2 wickets each, while Aditpal, Sachin and Ayush took 1 wicket each.
Jammu Rising Stars, in reply achieved the target in 11.5 overs for the loss of 2 wickets and thus won the match by 8 wickets. Sachin 42 and Shivansh 28 were the main scorers. Uttkash took 1 wicket for his team. Sachin was adjudged as man of the match.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Sehwag Daredevils will take on MIER Shining Stars at 8.30 am, Jammu Rising Stars will meet Satwari Cantt Challengers at 11.30 am
And RRL Royals will face Jammu Vishal Kings at 2.30 pm.
