Sat provides Rs 3 lakh to Dharmik Natak Club

JAMMU, Sept 1: State BJP vice-president and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma, today gave an amount of Rs 3 lakh from his CDF (Constituency Development Fund) to Dharmik Natak Club, a renowned name in organizing events like Ram Leela and various other religious programmes.
The sanctioned sum will be used by the Club for construction of a hall and other necessary things in the premises of the Ram Leela ground at Janipur area of Ward number 37.
The amount was given by the MLA during a small but impressive programme organized in the presence of scores of people including administrative committee of Dharmik Natak Club, local residents of the area, social and political activists.
While speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that organizations like Dharmik Natak Club play a very dominant role in promoting our culture and they should be kept alive by boosting them in every possible way. He said young generation should also participate in programmes like Ram Leela so that they could know more about our thousands of years old culture.
He stated that former MLA, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, had also contributed from his CDF for construction of the Club at Ram Leela ground, Janipur and now the remaining pending works are to be taken up in order to fulfill the demands of the public and works of our previous MLA.
He also expected that the Club will organize more and more events in order to make public aware of the rich heritage of India.
Ex Coprorator, Ravinder Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Sahil Gupta, Onkar Singh, Balwan Singh and many others were also present on the occasion.
