JAMMU, Feb 13: Former BJP State president and former Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) started developmental works at Dogra Mohalla, Krishna Nagar area of Ward 12. Sharma was accompanied by Mandal president and Corporator Ward 12, Jeet Angral, JMC officials, local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 7.35 lakh and lanes and drains will be remodelled at Dogra Mohalla area of Ward 12.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that when he was elected as MLA of Jammu West Assembly Segment, he promised to the inhabitants that he will make Jammu West as a Model Constituency and after a time frame of four years, nearly all areas of Jammu West have been developed to their fullest and pending works will also be taken up and will be completed in a stipulated time frame so that Jammu West can be counted amongst best constituencies of India. He also appealed to the masses to spare some time for keeping cleanliness in their surroundings so that we can overcome the menace of pollutants in every area of Jammu West.
Jeet Angral appreciated the efforts of former Minister for solving the problems of masses every time and he also stated that main problem of Krishna Nagar was the problem of Nullah which caused worst situations for inhabitants for many decades but it was the efforts of our former MLA due to which this Nullah was constructed in a channelized way and now no garbage from deep drains comes on roads and do not enter the houses of inhabitants as well which clearly states that only BJP is concerned about the development of society.
Among others Shiv Charan Sharma, Manmohan Sharma, Pratibha Sharma Kamlesh Kumari, Surjit Singh Chib, Varinder Dogra, Romesh Thakyal, Anil Angral, Kuldeep Kumar, Satvinder Singh, Chintu, Ravi Kumar, Swarn Kumar etc were also present.
