Sat asks party activists to work for realisation of Upadayay’s dreams

JAMMU, July 14: To apprise the partymen about the community level programmes, the BJP held a meeting of party leaders and activists in Bishnah Constituency today.
Besides the BJP State president and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma the meeting was also addressed by State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh, MLC Adv. Ramesh Arora and Ex-MLA Ashwani Sharma.
Sat Sharma, in his address said that in this birth centenary year of great ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayay, we all need to work for fulfilment of his dreams. He also appreciated the work of Vistaraks who are working in the society without any personal interest.
While asking activists to strengthen the party at booth level, Sat asked them to celebrate the six festivals of party with full zeal and enthusiasm at each booth. He asked the party workers to work for the community level programmes like tree plantation, cleanliness drive etc. He also asked them to work for the aim of glorious and vibrant “Bharat” in which every man will be earning with dignity and have a home to live in, at the time when all Indians will be celebrating 75 years of independence from the British rule.
Dr. Narinder Singh focussed on the organizational matters while he was addressing the activists and said that the BJP holds the distinction of being only party based on principles. He asked them to follow the “Nation First, Party Second and Self Last” principle.
Ramesh Arora asked the party workers to work for strengthening the party so as to recover the lost seats and work with the aim of 44+ in next elections. He also asked the authorities to rethink over the “Martyrs’ Day” as its celebration will lead to the communal and regional divide.
Ashwani Sharma, while addressing the party workers, asked them to put every effort in mitigating the sufferings of the residents and approach the senior leaders of party to improve the condition of roads, electricity, water etc. in their areas.
Earlier the meeting started with the prayer for Moksha of martyred soldiers, who gave their lives for the nation and expressed solidarity with their families.
District president Brijeshwar Singh Rana, Romesh Saini, Raj Singh, Naresh Sharma, Naryan Dutt Sharma, Shilpi Verma, Neelam Sharma, Monika Sharma, Akashdeep were among the prominent persons present.
