JAMMU, Jan 28: BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma approved Rs 8.64 lakh for the construction of bathing ghats in the premises of Mahasha Biradari community hall in Ward Number 16.
MLA handed over the related letter to BJYM State Vice-President Ajay Vaid in presence of BJP senior leader ND Rajwal and Ward President Onkar Singh.
Sat Sharma said that community halls are meant to serve the public for different religious and social rituals and there is need to equip them with proper electricity and drinking water. He said that the bathing ghats in such places are meant to benefit the women in particularly.
He said that the site for the construction of bathing ghat was finalized few weeks back when he alongwith MP Jugal Kishore Sharma had visited the Mahasha Biradari community hall.
