JAMMU, Oct 1: To extend the relief to the affected families in recent heavy rains and floods in J&K, a team of The- Sara, registered NGO led by vice president Gurjeet Kour and director Dr Raminder Jit Singh visited Makwal camp and distributed relief material among the affected families.
The team of The- Saga was accompanied by SSP Shailander Singh and DySP Gurmeet Singh Ghuman, distributed blankets, clothes, food items and other household products to about 50 families of village Makwal camp ravaged by recent floods.
It is pertinent to mention The-Saga in its J&K Flood Relief Mission is supported by GOONJ-a leading non-profit orgainsation which is providing clothes and other basic amenties to militions in far-flung villages by turning urban wastage into a resource for rural India.
