JAMMU, Apr 12: An impressive function was organised by MLA RS Pura Dr Gagan Bhagat at village Phinder to celebrate the Foundation Day of the party and forth coming birthday of Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar which the party has decided to celebrate as “Samrasta Divas” meaning equality for all.
State President of BJP and MLA from Jammu West Sat Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. While addressing a mammoth gathering Sat Sharma said that P.M Narendra Modi has been focusing on the downtrodden, poor and weaker sections of the society since he assumed the office.
He along with several ministers, MPs , MLAs and party workers have been working tirelessly for the positive change which was the main reason for the people of the country to believe in the ideology and leadership of the party. He further said that in Jammu & Kashmir the party has been in coalition Government for the last two years and people can well judge the expected change in the working methodology of the BJP ministers and MLAs.
He said MLA R.S.Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat deserves all kudos for all round development of the Constituency and serving the people for which the party has given him mandate in the Assembly elections of 2014.
Dr. Bhagat while speaking on the occasion said that he is fully committed towards the party ideology and this is the basic reason he has been working along with the team of party workers from R.S.Pura Constituency for changing the face of his Constituency. He maintained that within couple of years all the pending works of R.S.Pura will be completed.
He also complimented Central and State leadership for rendering full support in the development works of R.S.Pura. He assured that a common man will have no problem in the Government offices of R.S.Pura Constituency and for that he has directed the administration to give up the culture of assurances and lethargic attitude, and the officials who so ever found involved in creating hurdles, delaying public work and corruption will not be spared at any cost.
Later on a ” Samrasta Bhog” was organized at the village in which Sat Sharma Dr. Gagan Bhagat along with party workers together took lunch in the house of a Scheduled Caste family at village Phinder R.S.Pura.
