SAMBA, Apr 18: As a part of continuous drive against the menace of the drugs and illicit liquor launched by District Police Samba on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Anil Magotra , a Police Party of PS Samba headed by SHO Samba in association with DSB Samba apprehended one person namely Anshu S/o Mohan Lal R/o Chack Manga Rakwal Samba near Bhargwa Degree College and recovered 40 nips/pouches of J&K Excise from his possession.
In this connection a case FIR No. 79/2017 U/S 48 Ex. Act has been registered in P/S Samba.
Similarity a Police Party of Police Post Rajpura headed by I/C PP in association with DSB Samba succeeded in recovery of 63 nips/pouches of J&K Excise in which Police has taken cognizance and further investigation is going on.
