City builder Sachin Balasaheb Sapale, who made the announcement in a meeting of Nationalist Congress Party in presence of senior party leader Hasan Mushrif and Kagal Municipal Council president Manik Mali, said ”We are ordinary people, cannot go on border to fight, but we can give honour to the Jawans.
”In view of this sentiment, I have decided to give two independent 2BHK row houses to the family members of Martyrs- Sanjaysinh Bhikamsinh Dixit, Malkapur and Nitin Shivaji Rathod, Chirpangra, both hailing from Buldhana district in Maharashtra.
According to Mr Sapale, the houses, valued at around Rs 25 lakh and situated in Kolhapur city’s New Vashi Naka area, are ready and keys would be handed over to the family members soon.

If the families decide to stay in these row houses, then it would be the honour of ‘Shahu Nagari’ in Kolhapur, the builder added. (AGENCIES)
