NEW DELHI: Minister of State in the PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, who is MP from Jammu and Kashmir, today said ensuring the safety and comfort of students from the State was very important for the Government.
”It was important to ensure that in whichever part of the country they live, their safety and comfort should be a priority so that they can undergo their studies without any distraction,” Dr Singh said in an interaction with students and teachers from Doda and other parts of the State. The Modi Government was particular about the interests of students from peripheral States like Jammu & Kashmir and Northeast, who are studying in different parts of the country, he added.
Dr Singh, and held an hour long meeting with him to discuss some important issues related to the student community within the State as well as such students from the State who are undergoing studies in different parts of the country outside the State. (AGENCIES)
