LEH, Mar 23: Under Operation Sadhbawana, open Archery Competition was held at Col Sonam Wangchuk MVC Stadium, here today.
As many as 26 teams including specially-abled women team from Pagir participated in the daylong tournament.
Lt. General PS Pannu, AVSM, VSM, GOC 14 Corps was chief guest on the occasion.
The tournament was organized by Kharu based 3 Ladakh Scouts and was funded by 14 Corps.
After 8 rounds competition, Sabu Red with 475 points was the winner, while  Skara Red with 454 points was the runners-up.
In the Individual category, Rigzin Tonyot was adjudged as the best Archer of the day.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest said that Ladakh is a famous tourist destination and its development in the sports field will add colour to its tourism.
The Specially-abled team of Pagir was felicitated by the GOC for taking part in the tournament.
