JAMMU, Oct 1: Rural Wrestling event organized by Budhi Dangal Committee to encourage the youth towards healthy India.
The wrestlers in large numbers drawn from Punjab, Haryana and J&K displayed talent and skill to entertain the rural population.
The Superintendent of Police, Choudhary Suleman was chief guest on the occasion.
The final bout was held between Wrestlers from Amritsar and Pathankot.
Rana Kohli from Amritsar claimed the title and was honoured with a cash award of RS 12000. He defeated Minda of Pathankot, who got a cash prize of Rs 9000.
The Dangal Committee President, Parkesh Chand spoke on the occasion and gave brief report of the event.
