JAMMU Sept 30: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated its foundation day with great enthusiasm and charm today. In this connection route marches were taken out in different areas of the Jammu by the activists of Sangh.
Over 1100 volunteers of RSS today took out route marches in various parts of Bhaderwah town on the occasion of its Foundation Day
RSS cadre wearing white shirt, brown trouser and black caps regulated by concerned Path Sanchalak (route in-charge) while Chanting “patriotic and motivational songs” RSS volunteers participated in the procession which started from Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Ganpat Bazaar passing through different locations of the town including Seri Bazaar, Laxmi Narayan Chowk, Chobia link Road and New Bus Stand. They rally culminated at historic Seri Bazaar.
At Kishtwar also, a rally was taken out by RSS activists, which started from Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kishtwar, and after passing through various markets including Dak Banglow, Char Chinar, Kuleed Chowk, New DC office and Sarkoot, culminated back at BVM Kishtwar, where parcharks addressed the volunteers.
It was the first gala event for RSS in Chinab valley after change of uniform.
While at Doda only  Shastra Pujan (weapon worship) was performed by religious heads.
