RAMBAN, Feb 17: A special squad of Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs realized Rs 5400 fine from erring traders under Essential Commodity Act and Price Display Act.
As per official spokesman, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Aijaz, a special squad comprising Assistant Director FCS&CA, Naib Tehsildar Chanderkote, TSO FCS&CA Ramban and police party conducted surprise checks in main market of Chanderkote.
During the checking, Rs 5,400 was realised as fine from 28 defaulters by the checking squad under Essential Commodity Act and Price Display act.
