Rs 25 lakh for martyr’s family

LUCKNOW, Aug 19:
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid rich tributes to the martyred Army jawan Dalibir Singh and announced a financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh and a Government job for the martyr family, a Government spokesman said here on Sunday.
Army jawan Dalibir Singh belonged to village Musepur in Aligarh district.
Yogi said that the supreme sacrifice of this brave heart for the country will always be remembered.
Extending his condolences to the bereaved family of the late soldier, the Chief Minister announced that the State Government will be providing a financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the dependents of the martyr. Other than this, a member of the family will be given a Government job and the village of the martyr will be developed as a model village.
Giving this information, a State Government spokesman said that the Minister in-charge of the district will pay homage to the martyr on behalf of the State Government.
It may be pointed out here that during a gun battle with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, Singh laid down his life in the line of duty. (UNI)
