RAJOURI, Feb 6: A meeting of Retired Police Persons Forum (RPPF) was held in which the participants reiterated their demand of granting ‘one rank one pension’.
The other demands discussed included enhancement in medical allowance to Rs 3000; 15% reservation in recruitment to their wards, sanctioning of Rs 50,000 to family of retired police person in event of his death, as also an assistance of Rs 50,000 for marriage of daughter of retired police personnel.
Release of 7th Pay Commission report in their favour was also demanded and the Government was urged to concede all the demands at an earliest.
