Rotten vegetables, sub standard dairy products destroyed

KISHTWAR, June 7: In view of ongoing holy month of Ramadan, the market enforcement team led by Tehsildar Kishtwar Shokat Hayat Mattoo destroyed rotten vegetables and sub standard dairy items.
The market checking was conducted on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana and under the supervision of Imam Din, Additional District Development Commissioner.
The team inspected over 150 business establishments and shops in the town here and destroyed rotten vegetables and sub standard dairy products. The defaulters were asked to maintain the quality parameters and standards.
The meat, poultry and sweet shops were also inspected and their owners were asked to maintain the rate fix, hygiene standards and were also directed to install the digital weighing machines.
Tehsildar was accompanied by Ashwani Sharma, AD CAPD Kishtwar, Anil Kumar, Assistant Controller Legal Metrology Department Kishtwar, Inspector Sameer Jeelani, SHO Kishtwar, Rajni Bhagat, Food Safety Officer Kishtwar, Vinod Kumar, Sanitary Inspector Municipal Committee Kishtwar.
