Rotary Club Jammu holds installation ceremony of new team

JAMMU, July 9: The Installation Ceremony of the new team of Rotary Club Jammu Tawi for the Rotary Year 2017-18 was held here today.
The function was attended by more than 100 guests including many Assistant Governors, presidents and secretaries from various clubs from the Rotary International District 3070.
Chief guest for the evening, District Governor, Parvinder Jit Singh along with the new president, Jasawant Rai Gupta, addressed the function and highlighted the main goals of the Rotary International, which has 12.5 lakh members and more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in 200 countries.
Speaking on the occasion, the new president highlighted the projects completed during the last year. The District Governor urged all the members to extend teamwork to fulfill desired objectives.
On the occasion, the Club Roster was also unveiled. The new team also includes Raman Sherpuri (secretary), Subash Gandotra (vice president), Dr Naveen Anand (executive secretary), Vinay Kapoor (treasurer), Balraj Singh (joint secretary) and Upinder Gupta (Sgt-at-Arms) for Rotary Year 2017-18.
Meanwhile, Rotary Governor felicitated Bar president, BS Slathia and Chief Engineer, KK Gupta, for their services to the society.
