JAMMU, Jan 29: A team of youth who are creating awareness among the under privileged students at Kalka Colony, Bahu Fort, Jammu were selected to participate in one day cultural programme to be organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Bathinda in Punjab tomorrow.
Ronak Singh, founder president of ‘Education for You Club’, flagged off the group in a simple function at Railway Station, here today.
The youth delegates comprised of Jasvir Singh (team leader), Gourav Choudhary, Tahir Ahmed, Vishajeet Singh, Asha Kumari, Sonali, Pooja Kumari, Amit Kumar, Bablu Kumar and Gomati.
The aim of this programme is to give more exposure to the youth at national level and the participants will promote national integration, communal harmony and interact with the youth of other parts of the country.
The volunteers will also highlight the activities carried out under ‘Education For You’ project and spread the importance of social responsibilities among students.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Jai Prakash, Ganesh and Sehar.
