Rohingyas issue: JKPCC asks BJP to act

JAMMU, Feb 12: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has asked the ruling BJP in the State and Centre to act in the matter of Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals residing in the State instead of making repeated statements for political vested interests.
In a statement, JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma said that some senior BJP leaders are making hollow statements only to vitiate atmosphere and divert attention from their utter failures in the coalition with PDP.
“The spineless BJP leaders have proved to be mere paper tigers who have the art of making headlines in media by nicely crafted unachieveable slogans. They achieved the objective to gain power by emotional blackmail of the people and thereafter betrayed the mandate while they commit summersault on regular basis over each and every commitment made to the people”, he said.
Sharma said that now on the issue of these foreign nationals they being the ruling party at the Centre and State must act and no one stops them but they only make news with ulterior motives for their political and other interests to vitiate the atmosphere.
He asked the State and Centre to act fast in the matter and deport them, and stop playing politics over these refugees to create trouble over this sensitive issue, for which they shall be squarely responsible if failed to act in time.
