Rohan, Deepak dazzle as Chinore Cricket Club wins T20 Tournament

JAMMU, Apr 19: All-rounder Rohan Koul bagged man of the series award by scoring 156 runs and taking 7 important wickets, while leg-spinner Deepak Singh Manhas was adjudged as the man of the match for his 5-wicket haul as Chinore Cricket Club defeated Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor in the T20 Cricket Tournament Rural, organized by Jammu Police under Civic Action Programme at MHAC School ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor scored a modest total of 111 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. For Chinore Cricket Club, Deepak Singh Manhas was the wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 5 wickets and restricted the rivals to a modest total.
In reply, Chinore Cricket Club chased the target easily by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Rohan Koul top scored with 25 runs, while Deepak contributed valuable 23 runs to the total.
