KISHTWAR, Feb 25: Robb-ers attempted to loot a bank in Chingam area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar Police Station.
As per police sources, some robbers broke open the locks of a J&K Bank branch at Chingam area, but fled away as soon as alarm rang.
Manager of the bank namely Anis Ahmed Mattu reported the matter to police.
A case under FIR Number 8/18 under Section 457 RPC has been registered at Chatroo Police Station and investigation started.
When contacted SSP Kishtwar Abrar Choudhary said that some suspects have been detained and their questioning is going on. However, no arrest have been made till now, he added.
