Jammu, Feb.12 : Road & Safety Cricket Eleven registered emphatic wins against Secretariat Cricket Eleven in Exhibition Cricket Match, which played at Parade Ground, here today.
The Exhibition Cricket Match was organized by Vishal Club Jammu under the supervision of Rajesh Gill Former Ranji Player and Chief Prosecuting Officer with the objective to provide platform to government officers/officials to have interaction with each other and enjoy the t20 game .
Batting first, Road Safety Cricket eleven scored 107 runs in stipulated 18 overs for the loss of 4 wickets with opener Rohan Gill unbeaten 27 runs with three boundaries , Farooq Ahmad 26 runs and Naresh 26 runs being the main scorer. Murtaza took 2 wickets while Yasir and Tehsin shared one wicket each for Secretariat Eleven .
Secretariat Eleven, in reply could not chased the target and made only 57 runs by losing all wickets thus lost the match by 50 runs.
Mohsin was the top scorer with 18 runs while Irfan made 16 runs and Bilal made unbeaten 10 runs. Ashim took 3 wickets, RK Bhat and Shokat took 2 wickets each, Rajesh Gill and Majid took 1 wicket each.
Rohan Gill was declared man of the match for scoring unbeaten 27 runs.
The match were officiated by Sandeep Manchanda, Vinod and Shugul.
