JAMMU, July 14: Renowned Indian Trichologist (super specialist in field of hair and scalp care), Dr. Apoorva Shah has underlined the stress and poor nutrition as the big enemies of good hair health.
In a news conference here today Dr. Apoorva Shah informed the reporters that genetic aspect is the biggest contributor for hair health.
“If hairs of parents are in good health, then there will be no problem to the hairs of children and vice-versa of this is also true,” Dr. Shah told reporters.
He stressed on the importance of good nutrition to counter hair problems like hair-fall, whitening of hairs, baldness etc and informed that consumption of milk and cheese is essential for good hair health.
Quality of water being used for bathing and cleaning hairs is also one of the factors determining the hair health.
Dr. Shah was in the Jammu city to inaugurate 87th branch of RichFeel at Gandhi Nagar where Trichologist Dr Dipika will remain available to treat the patients with hair problems.

On hair losses in case of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, he informed that such lost hairs can be restored within six months.
